Archives Commission Members
The undersigned Mr. Anthony James Boyce, Mr. Luciano Baiocco and Mr. Jaroslav Schmid are members of this commission to work by e-
mail on the documentation of I.C.S.C. records as authorised at the XXVI I.C.S.C. Congress, Vilnius, Lithuania, 2002.
INTERNATIONAL CHESS COMMITTEE OF THE DEAF
Archives Commission Report 2014-15 There is very little to report. Since the 32nd Congress at Opatica 2014, there has been no visit to the ICCD Archives at Warrington, England. But the ICCD material has been taken great care of by the Chair, Anthony Boyce who has compiled a collection list.
The ICCD resident has met up with the ICCD Honorary President Boyce on a couple of occasions, and after some considerable thought, the most sensible course would be to disband the Archives Commission for it has been dormant for a few years.
There has been little communication between the Commission members; furthermore, there has hardly been any activity going on apart from transferring Gerrit Westerveld’s work from the Netherlands (thanks to Mike Freund who has been most cooperative).
There will be some more material added to the ICCD Archives such as: ICSC Research material from several countries (USA for one); The work of Alexander Sellman (America); EDCA (England).
The Archives Commission would require addition of recent ICCD Congress Minutes, reports, memorabilia and so on. The ICCD President intends paying a visit to Warrington in order to carry out a feasibility study.
Anthony Boyce is to be thanked for his good work.
